Vision

ESPO’s Data Champion Initiative (DCI) envisions schools empowered by a collaborative data culture that drives equity and continuous improvement. By supporting leaders with actionable tools and aligned practices, we aim to make data-driven decision-making seamless and impactful for every school community.

Mission

ESPO’s Data Champion Initiative supports schools in developing data systems and routines that promote a shared data culture that values, practices, and encourages the use of data to improve decision-making.

Our goal is to build a network of support for school leaders that makes the essential elements of data-driven work highly implementable and reflective of schools’ values and goals. 

Data Champion Initiative

A Data Champion within ESPO’s Data Champion Initiative serves as a key facilitator in helping schools develop and implement effective data systems and routines. This role focuses on fostering a shared data culture that values collaboration, equity, and continuous improvement. Data Champions work closely with school leaders to:

• Build and sustain a network of support that promotes actionable and reflective data use.

• Equip schools with tools and strategies to integrate data-driven practices into decision-making processes.

• Ensure that data systems align with each school’s unique values, goals, and community needs.

Through their efforts, Data Champions empower schools to make informed, impactful decisions that drive educational success and organizational growth.
